Reducing the melting time of induction furnaces
The long melting time is one of the main problems of factory managers with induction furnaces. Ghadir’s expert team proudly shortens the melting time of induction furnaces as much as possible by installing its digital control systems, which will increase the production of furnaces and thus be more profitable for managers. Digital control systems for 6, 12 and 24 pulse induction furnaces to reduce the melting time of induction furnaces can be provided with the following specifications: • This board has two ARM processors with floating point computing capabilities. All controllers are implemented on this processor. An FPGA is also used alongside it to prevent any damage to the power circuit due to a possible failure of the processor. The FPGA is responsible for receiving and sending pulses and the final processing and protection operations. • RS485 port with standard MODBUS/RTU protocol for connecting to local HMI or PLC • Ethernet port with standard MODBUS TCP/IP protocol for connecting to local HMI or PLC or telecommunication • Ability to adjust parameters from local HMI• Send power, voltage, current, and frequency information to HMI
• Send electronic error information to HMI
• Display of power curve on HMI
• Service mode for testing: rectifier, rectifier pulses and inverter pulses, 10 ms test
• Separate feed for the control board and steering board of thyristors
• Has test points to measure the values of voltages and currents input to the board.
